Position: Brewer
Reports to: Head Brewer
Job Description: Full-time up to 50 hours per week. Perform job responsibilities with the utmost professionalism and responsibility.
Responsibilities:
• Perform all duties pertaining to the brewing process from ingredient selection, wort production, fermentation, post fermentation, and packaging.
• Clean beer lines, towers, and taps on a rotating schedule and as needed.
• Conduct brewery tours on demand while at the Brewery.
• Assist with event preparation, operation, and breakdown.
• Utilize company truck for various tasks.
• Wear appropriate safety clothing and equipment as per Head Brewer’s instructions and following all company procedures and policies as outlined in the Employee Manual.
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times while representing the brand.
Requirements:
• Excellent attitude and ability to succeed as a qualified member of a streamlined and efficient brewing crew.
• Minimum 3 years commercial brewing experience or 1 year commercial brewing experience coupled with a formal brewing education.
• Ability to lift 100lbs.
• Ability to work in a 36°F environment for extended periods of time.
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a forklift certification.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining an extreme level of detail and attention.
• Ability to overcome unforeseen obstacles as they arise such as equipment failure.
• Ability to have a good time while getting your butt kicked in a fast paced brewery environment.
• Signed non-compete for the surrounding area after successfully completing a 90-day trial period.
