SanTan Brewing Company (Chandler, AZ) is searching for an outstanding Southern California Sales Rep to be based in the San Diego area. As a representative of SanTan, you must have a great attitude, strong work ethic, competitive nature and a brain that’s built for the business of beer.
Qualified candidates should also have:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Abundant energy and zest for life
* Great presentation skills
* Ability to multi-task, self-start and think/act quickly when something needs to be done
* Ability to complete tasks on time and independently
* Proven reliability and consistent, strong work ethic
* Healthy interest in and knowledge of craft beer
* Outside sales experience preferred, craft beer sales experience even better
* Strong desire to grow professionally
The ideal candidate will have the ability to both discuss and negotiate distribution programs with distributors and also to lead by example in the retail trade. While passion for craft beer is important, knowledge of how beer flows through the three-tier system is required, as is a passion for the business side of the craft beer industry.
Preference will be given to candidates who currently live in the San Diego area and who have craft beer sales experience at the distributor or brewery level.
Job requirements:
* Be based in the San Diego area
* Significant regional travel, including but not limited to, Orange County and the Los Angeles markets
* Evening work – tastings and promotions
* Weekend work – festivals and events
* Regular communication with the home base and entire sales team
* Reliable vehicle
* Good driving record and Personal Liability auto insurance (contact for more info)
