Hello all - anyone in New York State put together a "certified, licensed, etc." grain mill room for a packaging brewery? Most of the craft brewers I've met have solved the problem by avoiding it as in not telling anyone they are milling grain on-site. The Dept. of Ag. doesn't seem to care much.
Anyone actually jumped through the hoops to make it legal? What was involved? I am putting together the drawings for a packaging plant right now and half of me wants to contact OSHA and the other half of me says "no way!".
Thoughts?
Thanks,
John
Note: I am building a sealed mill room into our facility, complete with a woodworking-style dust collector. Just looking for suggestions on working with authorities and what is required.
