  • Moat Mountain Brewery seeking experienced celler person/brewery assistant

    We have outgrown our 7 BBL brewpub in and opened up a 20 BBL production brewery right up the road. We are looking for an experienced cellar person to join our small team, with the unique opportunity to work in both the 7 and 20 BBL breweries: the best of both worlds! A new Wild Goose automated canning line will be installed in early February, so canning experience would definitely be a plus. We currently have 240 BBL of production capacity in the new brewery, with 260 BBL of bright capacity, with another 120 BBL of capacity to be added in the upcoming months. Needless to say, we will have lots of work to be done.
    Responsibilities: keg cleaning/filling, canning line operation, grain handling, CIP of tanks, racking, fermentation tracking, and general housekeeping, as well as any other misc. tasks that come up.
    Qualifications: passion for the brewing world, strong organizational and communication skills, flexible schedule, with the ability to work weekends if needed, a team player who is comfortable working independently as well, an eye for detail, and a great attitude.
