Black Tooth Brewing Company Seeks EXPERIENCED Brewer:
The Black Tooth Brewery located in the heart of downtown Sheridan, WY is seeking a Brewer/Cellar Person to help with all aspects of brewing operations. Black Tooth Brewing is a brewery/Taproom that currently producing 2,000+ barrels per year on a 10 bbl Newlands brewhouse. Sheridan is located in Northern Wyoming next to the Big Horn Mountains with a population over 18,000 people. It is a wonderful place to raise a family as well as for outdoor enthusiasts with lots of hunting, fishing, hiking and camping.
Job Description:
The Brewer/Cellar Person is responsible for all aspects of the brewing process from grain to glass. He/she is responsible for producing the highest quality beer possible which Black Tooth Brewing has built its reputation on. He/she must be able to communicate and educate the taproom staff on beer production, styles, and culture. He/she must respectfully and professionally represent the company at various beer festivals and local events. He/she must be able to work long hours as is often common in production brewing and have a “get the job done” attitude no matter what.
Candidates Should Posses:
-Minimum of 1+ years brewing experience
-Education from an accredited brewing institution is preferred and valued
-A very strong passion for beer and a work ethic that is exemplary of that passion
-Good communication skills written and verbal
-Experience with Wild Goose MC250 canning line a plus
-High attention to detail in a brewery environment and a high respect for proper sanitation practices and cleanliness in a showcase brewery
-Ability to work in loud and temperature extreme environments
-Ability to lift over 50 lbs repeatedly
