We spend a lot of time cleaning around the drop-in style of valves - getting all the dry beer and other "stuff" that collects in between the valve body and the housing that holds it.
Our keg washer has a regular-stainless-garden-variety-micro-matic tap that hooks up to the kegs for cleaning and sanitizing. I have to think the machines that clean, sanitize and fill in the same operation it's all getting done at once including the outside of the valve.
Is there another type of tap/fitting cleans around the valve at the same time as the keg is being cleaned inside?
