    JOB TITLE: Downtown Beer Coordinator
    LOCATION: Eccentric Café
    REPORTS TO:Facilities Maintenance Manager
    POSITION TYPE: Full-time, Hourly
    EXTERNAL POSTING DATES: 2/17/14-3/2/14

    POSITION SUMMARY: To maintain an up to date variety of draught and bottled beer in both Bell’s Eccentric Café and General Store as well as offering a clean and organized environment for all things beer.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    •Adheres to and advances the “Safety Always” culture of Bell’s Brewery.
    •Clean and maintain draught system and other draft equipment.
    •Clean and maintain growler system.
    •Order draught and growler system parts.
    •Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts.
    •Move beer from main inventory to service areas.
    •Follow a FIFO inventory system.
    •Order flagship beers.
    •Enter monthly depletions into inventory control system.
    •Work collectively with bar manager to determine beer selections.
    •Keep coolers clean and organized.
    •Must have a flexible schedule, early mornings and some weekends are required.
    •May be assigned to special projects, as needed.

    •None

    MATERIALS/MACHINES/EQUIPMENT USED:
    •Twenty faucet draught System.
    •Pegas Craftap growler filling station.
    •Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) iDIG-VIP.
    •Full and empty kegs.
    •Cleaning agents and other hazardous chemicals.
    •Forklift.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:
    •Craft beer knowledge
    •Prior industry experience
    •Knowledge of proper lifting techniques

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
    •Ability to be on your feet and walk a majority of the time. Walking surfaces may be wet and/or slippery.
    •Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/.
    •Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb.
    •Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms. Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
    •Work is primarily performed in a bar/warehouse setting; with a majority of time spend in keg cooler.
    •The employee comes in contact with and has to handle broken glass.
    •The employee regularly works with hazardous materials.
