    Territory Sales Manager – Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA

    Fish Brewing Company representing high quality hand crafted beers and ciders under the brand names Fish Tale Ales, Leavenworth Biers, and Spire Mountain Ciders, is seeking a unique individual with experience, knowledge and relationships to grow the company brands in the Southwest Washington, Oregon, and Southern Idaho markets. The Territory Manager reports to the Regional Sales Director and is responsible for management and oversight of all sales and marketing operations of all our products sold in their territory. The position is based in the Vancouver, WA/Portland, OR area. The successful candidate must maintain a home office but will be required to frequently travel within the territory and to the company headquarters in Woodinville, WA. The team consists of a Regional Sales Director, Chain Account Manager, National Sales Manager, Regional Sales Representatives, and a Marketing Coordinator.
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
    Specific duties include:
    • Annual Sales Plan Development
    • Brand Management
    • Budget Management
    • Distributor Management.
    • Promotion Management.
    • Event and Festival Management
    • Hire, train and manage sale representatives as required.
    • Establish and manage to quarterly and annual objectives
    • Support Company Values
    • Work with management in the development of procedures, policies and budgets
    • Other duties as assigned throughout the company to assist other departments as needed to accomplish organizational goals.
    Position Requirements:
    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
    • Four-year college degree preferably in a business area. An MBA in marketing or business is preferred but not required.
    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
    • Five years of sales experience with two years of progressive advancement in management positions.
    • Strong skills in reviewing and understanding financial statements with the ability to drive the bottom line.
    • Strong computer skills including knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite programs, iDIG (VIP), and Margin Minder.
    • Experience in hiring, training, and managing sales representatives.
    • Experience in a beverage related field developing brands and knowledge on how to take them to market.
    • Experience, knowledge and relationships with account managers in the Pacific Northwest and elsewhere.
    • Experience, knowledge and relationships with beverage distributors in the Pacific Northwest.
    • Marketing experience required to expand marketplace and gain customer share.
    • Sound technical knowledge of brewing raw materials and components
    • Experience in motivating staff to achieve goals; ability to develop and manage productive relationships with staff and peers locally and remotely.
    • Ability to work some evenings and weekends
