Looking for Head Brewer in Sacramento, CA
Job Description:
The Brew Master is responsible for all tasks involved in the brewing process. They include, but are not limited to the following:
-Ordering and maintenance of raw materials for inventory purposes of brewing. Malt, hops, yeast, specialty grains, etc.
- Learning, documenting, and maintaining process control of RCBC brewing recipes.
- Interfacing with the President and General Manager to schedule, produce and maintain sufficient inventories for onsite consumption.
- Maintenance (cleaning and servicing) of all brewing equipment.
-Will participate in off site events such as brew festivals, award banquets and any activity RCBC chooses to promote our brewery at.
-Will maintain sufficient record keeping to document and report to the proper tax and regulatory agencies.
-Should have brewers education or certificate
-Should have at least a year experience in a brewery or as an intern
Full Time Position
Pay scale is dependent on skill set and years of experience. Range $18-$25/hr.
Start date is immediate
River City Brewing Company was founded in 1993 and is in the Downtown Plaza . Nearly twenty years of brewing awards adorn the walls of our brew house and restaurant. RCBC is not only known for its award winning beers but its highly regarded and eclectic food menu pairs well with our brews. The restaurant enjoys an expo kitchen and the dining hall is surrounded by the brewery so that nearly every seat has a view of the brewing process. Although you may feel that you are in the middle of a brewery, the ambiance is warm and casual. RCBC produces approximately 20 different styles of brews over the course of a year depending on the season. Our beers are primarily for onsite consumption.
