We are actually looking for a passionate and experienced head brewer for a starting up microbrewery in Latacunga, Ecuador.
The brewery is based on a 3hl system and will work beside a already famous craft beer bar in the area, tha Cafè Templario that is selling other craft brews from around Ecuador and has been building up a lively and enthusiast public about craft beers in tha last 2 years. Now we want to brew ourselves outstanding ales working on creativity, quality and taste. Great possibilities of a fast growing up due to the general rate of groth of the craft beer market in Ecuador.
Speaking Spanish is not strictly required as the owners are international and Latacunga is a really open and touristic place. English should be ok for everything.
We are looking for an open minded and enthusiast person, willing to travel and become a core part of the project. We want someone that can garantee to stay with us at least 1 year, no investment is required and salary will be discussed with owner to grant a quiet and nice living here.
Latacunga is a safe, nice and quiet town in the Andes, capital of the Cotopaxi province, just 1 hour south from the national capital Quito. Latacunga is sorrounded by an amazing natural enviroment, just at the feet of the big volcan Cotopaxi. People that enjoy nature, hiking and a healthy life will really be impressed about this place.
The brewery has been set up during these days and we are starting brewing some ghost batches to experiment and check the brewhouse, but we would like a head brewer to join us as soon as possible ( maximum in June ). We think that a passionate and experienced brewer could really make the difference in a pioneering and young beer scene and market like Ecuadorian one is right now.
