A new 10BBL brewery and taproom based in the Seattle, WA area is looking for an experienced brewing consultant to provide mentoring and guidance on all aspects of a startup brewery.
Initial Start-up Guidance will include:
Brewery & taproom layout
Dialing-in recipes
Establishing standard operating procedures
Time Expectations: Approximately 4-8 hours/month from April/May 2014 - December 2014
On-going Guidance will include:
Brewhouse & taproom management
Brewing operations
Cleaning and sanitization protocol
Yeast management
Cellaring
Time Expectations: 40 hours/week from January 2015 - June 2015. 20 hours/week from July 2015 - December 2015
Ideal candidate will have:
3+ years experience as a head brewer with a production brewery in the craft beer industry
Knowledge of modern brewing systems and controls
Experience with permit submittals (Federal, State)
Experience with recipe development and forecasting seasonal brews
Effective communication skills
Organizational, time management, and leadership skills
Compensation DoE. Non-Disclosure Agreement required.
