    Starting Salary $20/hour+, Depending on Experience

    Eddyline Brewing is a fast growing brewery that is adding 8,000' square feet for a new 4-Vessel Newlands brewhouse. We are needing another brewer to help brew and assist with cellar duties. We are looking for a personable individual who can operate in a fast-paced environment yet has a passion for the outdoors. Buena Vista is a small town of 2500 fun people about 2.5 hours southwest of Denver; must be comfortable with the simple life of a small town! We have incredible skiing, kayaking, mountain biking, climbing, fishing and hunting, and outdoors to be enjoyed with our beers. If you love the outdoors and craft beer and want to enjoy both while earning a fair and livable salary and have the skills we need let us know!

    Our ideal brewer will have about 5 years professional brewing experience. Must be able to work efficiently while taking pride in a clean environment adhering to strict safety procedures. Must be able to work as a team with others. Must be able to accept criticism. Must have a sense of humor and be personable with customers.

    Essential duties, responsibilities, required skills and abilities:

    •Adheres to a Safety First attitude at all times.
    •Utilizes grain milling and brewing equipment.
    •Operates CIP (Clean In Place) process and Cellar equipment.
    •Strict adherence to sanitary procedures.
    •Troubleshoots equipment problems and is technically savvy.
    •Cleans and maintains all areas of the brewery and premises.
    •Flexible schedule, schedule will fluctuate dependent on production needs and some weekends, required. We do not operate past 10 pm or before 6am.
    •The ability and aptitude to work with and troubleshoot equipment.
    •The ability to operate a forklift.
    •Need to be able to safely maneuver 165 lbs (move full kegs around cold room and onto hand truck) and repeatedly lift 55 lbs (bags of malt) to shoulder height.
    •Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb.
    •Ability to frequently talk, hear, and smell.
    •Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms. Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
    •Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
    •Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards.
    •Attention to detail with emphasis on sanitation.
    •Ability to manage multiple processes at one time.
    •Self motivated with good time management skills.
    •Ability to work in a diverse environment.
    •Ability to effectively communicate with staff throughout the organization.
    •3-5 years brewing experience and/or training; a solid grasp of brewing science will need to be demonstrated.
    •Prior experience in beer production and packaging.
    •Knowledge of traditional and innovative brewing techniques and styles.
    •Strong organizational and communication skills.
    •Working knowledge of Google Apps.
    •The employee frequently must work in a sanitary environment.
    •The employee regularly works around high voltage, flame, hot liquids, and steam.
    •The employee regularly works with hazardous materials.
    •The employee works on wet floors and with wet equipment.
    •Occasional travel is required.

    Season pass to Monarch Mountain for the successful applicant

    We just wanted to throw out that for the successful applicant will receive a season pass to Monarch Mountain after a successful three months! We want happy brewers!
