We are a start up brewery in the process of completing our team. We have all the pieces to make a successful business, but we would like to add a seasoned and knowledgable head brewer/partner to our team. Our goal is to be a sustainable, community driven brewery. We currently have four partners who all bring a lot of depth and networks to the business. Whomever we select to join our team will need to fit with our business model and also our team personality dynamic.
Head Brewer/Partner
Start-up brewery looking for a head brewer to join our team.
•Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience in related technical discipline (i.e Food Science, Fermentation Science, Chemistry, etc)
•3+ years experience in the craft beer industry
•Experience with development of beer recipes & sourcing of ingredients.
•Knowledge of modern brewing systems and controls
•Preferably has experience as a head brewer or assistant head brewer at a brewery with at least a 10bbl system.
•Must be able to manage wort production, yeast management and propagation, record keeping, fermentation management, and cleaning and sanitizing tanks.
•Able to formulate recipes, have vision, and execute.[*]Ability and willingness to work with partners in designing a sustainable brewery
