  • Territory Sales Manager - PA/NJ

    Prism Brewing Company is looking for a Territory Sales Manager with existing relationships and knowledge of the Philadelphia metropolitan marketplace. This position will be responsible for the sales and distribution growth of the Prism Brewing portfolio, the development and execution of a strategic sales plan to increase and build Prism Brewing's distribution and sales volume, and be responsible for distributor management and communication throughout all levels of the wholesaler organization to generate consistent focus and effort in growing the Prism portfolio. This position reports directly to the Owner / Brew master which will provide the ideal candidate with the unique opportunity to learn from and directly impact the growth of Philadelphia's most creative brewery.

    Additional key responsibilities include:

    Develop productive relationships in key/chain accounts both on/off premise

    Conduct business reviews, General Sales Meeting presentations and training with Wholesalers

    Educate waitstaff, wholesaler representatives, and sampling teams
    Conduct beer tastings, tap takeovers, attending beer festivals and events
    Coordinate various aspects of social media networking
    Execute Wholesaler Sales Team work-withs as needed
    Monitor Quality Assurance controls
    Facilitate launches and rollouts of new styles
    Ensure proper merchandising of on- and off-premise accounts
    Utilize data reporting systems to collect data, monitor and track progress, and compile & submit reports as required
    Job Requirements:

    Preference given to those with existing relationships and knowledge of the local marketplace
    Must have at least 2 years sales experience in the malt beverage industry either with a Wholesaler and/or a Supplier/Brewery
    Must have solid selling skill sets and an understanding of both the On and Off-Premise Retailer network
    Must have a strong aptitude of how the Wholesaler sales and marketing network operates
    Must have a strong work-ethic and self-starter mentality
    Must be willing to work late nights and weekends
    Must have adequate computer skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    Must have fair acumin in presentation skills
    Must have strong communication skills both verbally and written
    Must be able to submit credible references within the beverage industry
