  • Lenticular Filtration micron

For people using a lenticular filter for primary filtration, what nominal micron level are you using? I know there are ranges but I would like to get my beer clear and I do not plan to do a secondary filtration. I was thinking 3-5 micron mark but not too sure. Long term shelf life isn't a major concern at this point as we are not distributing too far.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

Depends heavily on your yeast load, as well as your rate of flow, and how much beer you are putting through how many cartridges. The guys from Fluid Flow and or Pall have all been great to work with. They came out and ran a study on our beers to determine exactly which micron rating would work best for us.
