Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company is searching for pub and production brewers to join our team! We are entering our fourth year of rapid growth and expansion at our main brewery location, and opening new satellite pubs on the Central Coast.
Requirements:
-Professional brewing experience and/or formal brewing education
-Attention to detail
-Ability to multitask
-Good organizational skills
-Positive, self-motivating, go-getter attitude
-Able to learn processes quickly and follow procedure accurately
-Able to stand for long periods of time -Able to lift 50 lb repeatedly
-Able to work safely with hazardous materials
-Forklift experience
-Must be willing to relocate to California Central Coast
-Must be willing to work odd/long hours
-Must be absolutely in love with craft brewing
Primary tasks:
-Wort production
-Yeast wrangling
-Manage fermentations and conditioning -Some QC/labwork -CIP
-Transfers and filtration (DE and plate/frame) -Place/receive purchase
orders -Maintain organized inventory -Assist with special tasks,
events, etc as needed -Maintain clean brewery environment
-Collaborate on recipe and process design/development
