  • Hangable dry erase board for fermenters?

I've seen in various pics a hangable dry erase board (it usually has a rope on top to hang over the manway handle) to keep a record of gravity, etc.

Anyone have a source/link for these?

Buy a dry erase board. Drill a 1/2" hole in each upper corner. Tie a rope through hole (we use baler twine). Presto.

I use a white paint marker (I think I got them at home depot or Staples) and write directly on the fermentation and brite tanks - wipes off easily with a spray of sanitizer.

How about writing straight on your tank with a dry erase marker? If you have trouble getting it off, use Starsan directly on the tank, then rinse. Works like a charm.

        Prost!

We've found that clipboards with the plastic slip sheets for binders works well for us. That way the information sheet on each brew follows the beer from fermenter to brite to log book when finished packing.
