Apple Blossom Brewing Company is located in beautiful Fayetteville, Arkansas, overlooking Veteran's Memorial Park and Lake Fayetteville, which serves as a biking/walking trail hub. Northwestern Arkansas is a wonderful location for outdoor activities and the arts. Fayetteville also has a wonderful entertainment district and night life. The local beer scene is booming, with most of the breweries in the region opening within the last three years.
ABBC is looking for a passionate and intelligent individual to take the lead of our cellar operations. Duties will be the following:
-Cellar Sanitation
a) Drains, Floors, Exterior Stainless, Piping, Etc
b) Tank CIP
- Cellar Duties
(a) Cellar Transfers: fermentor to BBT, Cask, Keg, Oak Barrel.
(b) 1/2 BBL,1/6 BBL SS kegs, SS Casks package containers. No Plastic!
This person will also be required to represent the brewery at promotional events, such as Great American Beer Festival, local festivals, and brewery tours.
The following experience is a plus and highly sought after:
1) Sour Beer Production
2) Lab Skills: Microscopy, Plating, Isolation, Identification
3) Barrel Ageing
This position will be allowed some creativity by the creation of casks bi-monthly.
We are growing at a rapid rate, and if the fit is good, this will lead into a full time position. Great starting point for an existing cellar person wanting to move into brewing.
Hourly wage will depend upon experience. A preference on local candidates, but out of state candidates will still be considered. A phone/in-person interview and working interview will be conducted to the top candidates.
