If so, Old Dominion Mobile Canning has immediate full time openings due to our high growth. Old Dominion Mobile Canning based in Richmond Virginia is looking for a full time mobile canning lead. In this position you and your crew will work directly with craft breweries in Virginia and North Carolina providing the highest the quality canning services.

    We are looking for a qualified, motivated, and detail orientated individual who will be responsible for the following:

    All aspects of operating a beer packaging line including, but not limited to:
    - Operating and maintaining machinery
    - Troubleshooting beer conditions, mechanical problems, and other unanticipated issues
    - Packaging finished product
    - Extensive cleaning and sanitizing of the equipment (includes mixing chemicals)

    All aspects of operating a mobile packaging business including, but not limited to:
    - Organizing, preparing, and loading the mobile canning truck prior to jobs
    - Unloading and reloading and assembling and disassembling the mobile-canning truck on each job
    - Moving heavy equipment and supplies

    Warehouse activities including, but not limited to:
    - Organizing inventory and accepting deliveries
    - Maintenance and preparation of equipment
    - Brewery materials packing and loading


    Requirements:
    - Self-starter, eager to learn and take on responsibility.
    - Ability to problem solve and think on your feet.
    - Must have extreme attention to detail and organizational skills.
    - Customer driven and results oriented. Team player with top-notch people skills.
    - Passionate and knowledgeable about craft beer.
    - Mechanical. Competent at maintaining and repairing equipment.
    - Experience with tools and pneumatic equipment.
    - Comfortable working with numbers and familiarity with beer volume calculations.
    - Brewery experience is preferred, and an understanding of beer and the brewing process is required.
    - Restaurant or food service sanitation experience is a plus
    - Willingness to work irregular hours and travel throughout Virginia and North-central NC on a regular basis.
    - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
    - Physically able to work on your feet for long hours and lift/move heavy objects.

    Compensation:
    Full-time position with a 30-day probationary period. Competitive salary and bonus plan
