Looking for an experienced brewer for a new project in Key West.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with a 7+ Bbl brewhouse, we will be installing a new 15 Bbl late in May.
Enthusiasm and drive to make the best beer is a must, this industry is too cool and this job too fun to put up with anything less!
This project will focus on sales on premise and we are looking for a thorough understanding of recipe formulation across styles, a history of successful creativity a major plus!
Expected production is 1000 Bbls initially potentially growing to 5-6k over time.
Attention to detail in all aspects of cleaning and production are required, the head brewer will be involved in keeping this brewery looking spotless, Key West is a tourist destination and this brewery is located right in the thick of things so expect equipment and yourself to be on display.
The head brewer will be responsible for the majority of cellar work and QA/QC at the start, thorough understanding of all aspects of brewing from conception to draft balancing and menu descriptions will be required.
This project will be running by mid summer, equipment installation should be complete by the end of June.
