Baeltane Brewing in Novato, CA is looking for a hard working, driven brewer to join our crew. Professional schooling or advanced home brewing is a must. I said advanced.
The successful candidate must be passionate about craft beer, reliable and possess a strong work ethic.
Assistant will report to the Brewmaster. The brewer is responsible for assisting in the production of beer, from receiving raw ingredients to delivery of the final package. Main objectives include
controlling quality parameters, managing inventories, operating all equipment safely and
performing duties in a timely manner.

Key Duties: Brewhouse Operations - Assist in all aspects of wort production. Responsible for keeping the brewhouse clean and presentable. Inventory management of raw material and other goods.
Fermentation + Cellaring - Monitor and record fermentation conditions and progress.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary cellar. Perform CIP operations and manual cleaning of all equipment and work areas.
Packaging - Responsible for prepping filling equipment and work stations. Sanitization of all equipment and packages. Filling kegs and bottles. Record all volumes packaged and losses. Responsible for maintaining high standards of final package image. Organize packaged goods and packaging materials.
Special Events - Assists in the execution of events on and off premises. Represent the
company in a manner that will convey professionalism, knowledge, and a passion for craft beer. Speak at events on beer and food pairings, brewing process, and the company. Events will frequently take place evenings and weekends.
Deliveries - Responsible for delivery of beer to accounts. Maintain relations with licensees and the servers.
Safety, Security and Cleanliness - Ensures that the workplace is safe at all times for employees and guests, the production areas are
always presented in top form and that the property and buildings are secure at the end of each shift.
Pay is within the boundaries of the industry standards.
