    JOB TITLE: Key Partnership & Promotions Manager
    LOCATION: Administration building; Comstock, Michigan
    REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager
    POSITION TYPE: Full-time, Salaried
    EXTERNAL POSTING DATES: 05/19/2014-06/08/2014

    POSITION SUMMARY: Support the Marketing department in sponsorship/event planning and execution.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    •Adheres to and advances the “Safety Always” culture of Bell’s Brewery.
    •Reply to sponsorship and donation requests.
    •Serves as the sponsorship request gatekeeper for the President and the Director of Marketing. Fields questions and ensures that only the high visibility and most important requests reach that level. Responds to all day-to-day questions received.
    •Develop and execute programs to leverage sponsorships in the marketplace.
    •Manage sponsorship timeline and aid in project management.
    •Create inspiring marketing support materials for sponsorships and events.
    •Conduct analysis on sponsorship impact in markets.
    •Identifies potential sponsorship opportunities in Bell’s territories.
    •Identify and develop strategic partnerships for cross promotional opportunities to leverage the brand.
    •Works closely with Sales to seek out and plan sponsorships and events throughout the Bell’s distribution area.
    •Work closely with Social Media Marketing Coordinator to create social media content for sponsorships and events.
    •Works closely with Graphic Designer to develop logos, banners, signage, etc for sponsorships and events.
    •Works closely with the Point of Sale department to create and order POS for sponsorships and events, as needed.
    • Work closely with the Eccentric Café Event Coordinator to assist in planning and executing events at the Café, as needed.
    •Coordinate with HR on securing necessary legal documentation for events.
    •Use sponsorships to enhance company image, foster general community awareness and support the Bell’s brand.
    •Flexible work schedule, as weekends and extended workdays are necessary.

    Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

    •None

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
    •Must possess a valid driver’s license

    MATERIALS/MACHINES/EQUIPMENT USED:
    •Telephone, computer and related office equipment
    •Company Vehicle

    IMPORTANT SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    •Strong analytical, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; able to communicate with a broad and diverse audience of all levels.
    •Ability to organize and meet deadlines for a wide variety of ad hoc requests. Must be able to handle numerous projects at one time.
    •Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
    •Demonstrate high levels of self-direction and an orientation to achieve results.
    •Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information. Absolute integrity and discretion essential.
    •High level of creativity for marketing related ideas and materials
    •Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office Suite.
    •Ability to work weekends, as that is when most sponsorships and events occur.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:
    •A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or liberal arts
    •Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales or marketing-related role that involved sponsorships and/or events
    •Strong history of securing, planning, and executing sponsorships and events
    •Previous experience working with Adobe Suite is preferred.
    •Previous experience with craft beer and/or a passion for learning about craft beer is a definite plus.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
    •Regularly being required to sit or stand for long periods, as well as significant walking at events.
    •The ability to physically use a phone and computer is required.
    •The ability to travel to various industry events via car or airplane is required.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
    •This position will be primarily performed in an office setting.
    • Regular visits to Bell’s offsite events are common.
    •Occasional Travel is required to support Events.
