Job Description:
Looking for an enthusiastic brewer to work directly underneath our head brewer while being a part of something new, exciting, curious, and fun. Must have the ability and desire to brew beer in both large and small batches.
Primary Requirements:
Ability to operate a 30bbl brewhouse, and its components in our production facility.
Recipe formulation and execution, large and small.
Manage and propagate yeast, and ability to count cells.
Quality control and assurance.
Cleaning of all brewery components with CIP and keg washer.
Operate a canning line.
Packaging duties to include canning, kegging, possible bottling.
Raw material handling
Degree in brewing or related experience a plus
3-5 years professional brewing experience.
Other responsibilities:
Great communication skills and ability to work well with others.
Want to grow with an exciting start-up company with excited staff.
Lift 55 lbs and move 165 lbs efficiently and effectively.
Competently work with MS Office & Excel.
Operate a forklift and other complex machinery.
Ask questions.
Bonus Points:
Helping out in the tasting room.
Giving guided tours.
Going the extra step.
