Brewer Opportunity at Angel City Brewery (Los Angeles, CA)
Angel City Brewery in Los Angeles, California is looking for a qualified brewer to join the team!
This is a full time professional brewing position covering all facets of the brewing process from grains receiving up to and including bright beer adjustment and packaging operations. Candidates must meet the following requirements:
-Minimum 2 years professional brewing experience
-Formal brewing education or BS in applicable field preferred
-Ability to work well in team settings and independently
-Physically fit to operate in production brewing environment
-Ability to repeatedly lift 55lbs
-Strong work ethic and ability to multitask
-Solid understanding of the hard sciences underlying the brewing process
-Experience with basic brewing analytical instrumentation
-Experience in brewing lab settings strongly preferred
-Understanding and ability to perform basic brewing calculations
Compensation based on experience and aptitude. Benefits to include health care, paid time off, and free beer!
Angel City Brewery is located in the heart of downtown LA. We have a deep history in the LA craft brewing scene, and are currently experiencing significant growth under new ownership. We are currently brewing 3-4 days per week and offering our beers at accounts throughout LA County as well as at our high volume on-site public house. As our beer portfolio and volume keep expanding, we’re looking for the right brewer to grow with us.
