The River Company Restaurant & Brewery is an established (6 years) upscale casual restaurant brewery located in beautiful Radford, VA. We offer a varied menu that includes pasture raised beef from our own farms and local produce. The brewery is established and has a high success rate that we want to move forward with.
We have taken delivery of our canning machine and are gearing up for production. We intend to use the established recipes and add to our inventory as we grow. We brew on a DME direct fired 10bbl system.
We are looking for a highly professional individual who understands the business and that it IS business. We are not doing this for fun so the ideal person for the job has the following to offer:
Able to take direction from the owners and executive brewer
Ability to plan and forecast production runs to meet our local and distribution requirements
Ability to lift 55# repeatedly
Ability to move 200# repeatedly
A strong sense of responsibility to our vision and company. (we are family owned and operated)
A strong sense of creativity in recipe development. We like to create our own path instead of following someone else.
Familiarity with MS Access, Excel, and Word.
Self Starter! Ability to work unsupervised and get the job done.
A professional attitude and image to represent the company at events and festivals.
Plus all the other normal brewer requirements. We would prefer that you had some packaging experience and experience in a brewpub and production facility. We would love to have someone who has been in charge before but a highly talented assistant with references works too.
