Founded in 2008, Hangar 24 Craft Brewery creates beers inspired by our local fields in Redlands, California. Named for the Hangar in which Founder and Master Brewer Ben Cook would share his home brews after a day of flying, our beer continues to be produced right across the street from the very same airport. Overall Responsibilities
Execute the production plan through management of brewery inventory, equipment and personnel.
Key areas of Responsibility
• Manage brew house and cellar operations according to the production plan
• Translate the overall production plan into day to day, shift to shift tasking
• Input production data and post transactions into Vicinity Brew and Microsoft GP
• Oversee inventory of all raw materials & process materials and work to maintain consistent, lean inventories in line with goals established by Production Manager
• Oversee efficiencies in brewing & cellaring operations consistent with goals established by Production Manager
• Ensure adherence to established SOPs and when necessary, implement changes to improve processes with approval of Head Brewer
• Manage brewing and cellar personnel overseeing training, scheduling and participating in the hiring process and reviews
• Ensure accuracy of all logged data from individual brew logging through transfer to packaging
• Completion of the 5S Inspection on a weekly basis
• Assist with recipe development and implementation
• Ability to use and maintain equipment including, but not limited to Brewing Equipment, Packaging Equipment and General Industrial Equipment

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in the physical sciences or 4+ years of relevant industry experience
• Formal Education in Brewing Science preferred
• Ability to manage a large and diverse staff
• Strong communication skills to work with multiple suppliers
• Ability to understand and ensure strict following of SOP’s
• Attention to detail
• Ability to self-motivate to create/complete projects
• Ability to lift and maneuver a ½ BBL Keg (165 lbs)
• Forklift Certification (will provide if necessary)
