  • Any experience with Glidetech Butyl Hoses?

Looking at replacing some of the hoses in our brewhouse. Currently using Goodyear and Unaflex hoses but looking to upgrade. These Glidetech hoses have ridges on the outer sheath which allows it to be more flexible and fluids to flow beneath the hose when it lays flat on the ground, which would be nice for cleanup.

So does anyone have any experience with these hoses?

Yup, that's all we use, save for a few pieces of unaflex as well. In my limited experience as a commercial brewer, I'd say they are great and were highly recommended to us by our consultant. We got them with the donut style end connectors crimped on by our local supplier. They flex enough and while we've only been open 4 months, they seem quite durable. Hope that helps.
