    Do you want to learn how to make WINE for a season and possibly beyond?
    Our “Crush” season starts soon and goes through December. We need enthusiastic hard workers who want to learn a new skill and get a LOT of overtime for a few months. Then you can decide to return to beer or stay on with us.

    About us:
    Maryhill Winery is located on the cliffs of the Columbia River in southern Washington state Just 2 hours east of Portland OR. We work with 30 varietals, ranging from 200 case lots and larger, ~90K cases per year. Come join the 2014 Winery of the Year (San Francisco International Wine Competition), make exciting and diverse wines, enjoy the beautiful concert venue, and live in an outdoor enthusiast’s heaven.

    Position Summary:
    This is an all-around cellar position and the successful candidate will be involved in every aspect of production from berry to bottle. Responsibilities include; sanitation of tanks and equipment, clean/ozone barrels, operating pumps and crush/press equipment, operating a forklift, stacking barrels, filling/topping and racking barrels, transferring/racking tanks.

    Requirements:
    Able to understand, communicate and write in English.
    Forklift experience preferred.
    Valid Driver’s License.
    Ability to multitask is essential.
    Must be reliable, self-motivated and possess a good work ethic.
    Willing to work long hours and overtime as needed, especially during harvest.
    Able to lift and carry 50 lbs and stand/walk for long hours.

    Salary:
    DOE Hourly + Overtime
