Von Karlsson Breweries is a new, well-funded, large scale craft microbrewery
set to open in Singapore in early 2015. Von Karlsson is looking for a Head
Brewer with commercial production experience to come and join our team from the
start, and be a part of building a new, and (soon to be), the single highest quality
regional craft beer label in South East Asia.
Responsibilities
The Head Brewer will work directly with Executive Management and the Master
Brewer on the creation of brewery operational policies and manuals, and
together with the Master Brewer will formulate new seasonal and varietal craft
beer recipes and oversee all production aspects, including grain selection,
milling, mashing, lautering, fermentation, and packaging (bottling, canning and
kegging).
Additionally, the Head Brewer will assist with the recruitment, training, and
management of Assistant Brewers, Packagers, Warehousers/Shippers and all other
Shift personnel to ensure the smooth, sanitary, consistent production and
delivery of premium craft product.
