We are looking for someone fairly new to the industry who wants to be a part of a growing brewery and brand. We are EJ Phair Brewery in Pittsburg, CA. In the past 3 months we have doubled our production over the first half of the year, and currently have the capacity to double again. The majority of that production are contract brews. Our goal is to ramp up to full capacity, and then we will be hiring more sales and marketing to work on building out our brand.
The ideal candidate should have some experience. A passionate homebrewer will be considered, but experience and some formal brewing training would be preferred. At first the candidate should be ready to clean, keg, mill grain, wash kegs, CIP tanks and other odds and ends. We are a very small team however and I expect the ideal candidate to learn cellar work and be on the brew deck fairly quickly. Attention to detail is strongly preferred.
