    DuClaw Brewing Company, a rising force in the craft beer industry, is in search of an experienced, full-time Brewery Operations Manager.     DESCRIPTION
    The Brewery Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all production activities in the brewery while collaborating with the Brewmaster, President, and distribution/sales, marketing, and finance department managers to ensure timely production of our brands.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    - Work with the Brewmaster to coordinate and prioritize all required production team activities for each shift (including brewing, cellar work, filtering, housekeeping, maintenance, scheduling, projections, and special projects).
    - Lead a creative, experienced team of world class, award winning craft brewers.
    - Work closely with Brewmaster to coordinate the operation of our brewery.
    - Clearly and effectively communicate with team members in a timely manner.
    - Be the first line of communication and response (on and off shift) to production questions and issues, and follow up as needed with vendors, President, and Vice President.
    - Create standard operating procedures where required and ensure that current standard operating procedures are updated with relevant process changes, are communicated to the brewing team, and properly executed.
    - Maintain and track appropriate inventory levels of raw materials, chemicals, personal protective equipment, and other brewery supplies and equipment as needed.
    - Monitor and complete projects related to production efficiency, maximization, and consistency.

    Required Experience:
    Bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year college or university; Five years of brewing experience and two year minimum management experience: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    - A thorough knowledge of the brewing, filtration, and packaging processes, and the ability to operate the equipment used in each process at an expert level according to standard operating procedures.
    Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft software programs (word, outlook, excel)

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS
    - Scheduling flexibility as some off hours, split, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts will be required.
    Analytical thinking and the ability to make situational appropriate decisions based on available facts, brewing knowledge, and experience.
    Knowledge of the brewing industry.

    - Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb.
    - Ability to frequently talk, hear, and smell.
    - Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
    - Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms. Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
    - Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
