  • Brewer/ABG grad looking for work in SF Bay Area

    Hello, my name is Terence Hofstad. I've been working at Gordon Biersch (brewpub location) in San Jose, CA for almost a year now and I am looking to move on & up in the brewing world. Currently, I'm working as an assistant brewer but I am open to working in any brewer/assistant brewer/cellar positions available - preferably full time but I am willing to keep my options open and work my way up.

    Qualifications
    - Graduated from American Brewers Guild residential Craft Brewers Apprenticeship/Intensive Brewing Sciences & Engineering program in August 2014
    - 10 months assistant brewer experience on 10bbl brewpub system, mostly lager styles
    - Skilled in brewhouse operations, kegging, CIP, cellaring, deliveries
    - 3 years retail experience in craft beer bars (shift lead/head bartender)
    - Certified Beer Server, Cicerone Program (studying for Certified Cicerone exam next year)
    - social media management, event coordination/hosting
    - 4 years homebrewing experience
