Arbor Brewing Company Microbrewery is seeking a highly motivated, organized and passionate person to join our brewery team as the Production Manager. ABCM is a rapidly growing production facility that produces award-winning craft beer for distribution throughout Michigan, and we have recently launched our brand in the Ohio and Connecticut markets. Since opening in 2006, ABCM has continuously strived to not only create superior handcrafted beer, but to decrease the footprint we leave behind in doing so. ABCM was Michigan’s first solar-powered brewery and we are committed to sourcing local, natural ingredients both in the brewery and kitchen. Production Manager Job Description:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Leading brewery team members
• Writing weekly production schedule
• Forecasting for brewing and packaging
• Ensuring production targets are met
• Managing wholesaler orders and communication
• Managing inventory
• Managing beer allocation to wholesalers and in house
• Communicating retail availability
• Maintain tax logs
• Assembling and loading wholesale orders
• Writing, updating and enforcing standard operating procedures
• Analyzing and reporting on all brewing operations and efficiencies at weekly HG meetings
• Work closely with Head Brewer and Packaging Director to decrease waste and streamline processes
Desired Skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Highly organized
• Advanced written and oral communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to multitask
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook)
• Ability to safely operate a fork truck
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift 55 pounds regularly
• Must be able to stand for more than 8 hours a day
• Must be able to work in a loud, wet, hot and cold environment for extended periods of time
