We are currently looking for an experienced brewer at our production brewery in Fayetteville, AR. Fayetteville, and Northwest Arkansas, is currently in the middle of a craft beer revolution with 8 breweries having opened in the past 3 years, and several more set to open in the coming year. We got in on the ground floor of this revolution and are growing rapidly.
We currently produce solely in kegs for our Tasting Room and distribution to area bars and restaurants. We are also set to start canning by the end of the year!
Fossil Cove is a leader in the area producing some of the best beers around. The ideal candidate will be someone with professional brewing experience and a passion for brewing excellent quality beer in a fun environment. Great people skills and willingness to help educate the local population on quality beer will also be a necessity due to the relative "newness" of the industry in this area!
Job requirements will include, but are not limited to:
- Brewing, and all aspects of the process for quality wort production
- Cellaring, and all aspects of the process to produce quality finished beer ready for packaging
- All necessary packaging duties
- Adherence to cleanliness and quality control standards
- Lifting heavy objects
- Ability to follow SOP’s (standard operating procedures)
- Willingness to have fun and make great beer!
Fayetteville is a gateway to a myriad of outdoors opportunities as well ranging from canoeing and kayaking and hiking to world class rock climbing. Fayetteville is also home to the University of Arkansas and is a great place to live.
Pay will be competitive and based on experience.
