Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits, Miramar Facility in San Diego is now looking to hire a Filter Technician to help our ever expanding operations. This position includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
- Tank dumps [yeast cropping]
- Tank recirculations
- Dry-hopping
- Harvesting and pitching yeast
- Fermenter, bright tank and filter CIP
- Measurement/maintenance of proper carbonation and DO levels
- Maintaining cleanliness of cellar floors, tanks and equipment
- Beer fining/spice preparation and injection
- Running and optimizing Filtrox DE filter, inline carbonator and plate-and-frame filter
- Working closely with the QA/QC team to maintain quality and consistency
- Overall assistance to all departments of Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits
