We are looking for the right individual to join our tight-knit crew at Yazoo Brewing in Nashville, TN. The job opening is on our packaging line, which we have upgraded the past two years into a fairly automated line, consisting of a depalletizer, pressure-sensitive labeller, a 2010 year model 12-head COMAC filler, drop-packer, box erector, six-pack erectors, and box taper.
This is an entry level position at our company, so while previous experience in a packaging environment is a plus, we will train the right person. You will be on your feet all shift, in a sometimes hot and noisy environment, and will need to be able to repeatedly lift cases weighing 30 lbs onto a pallet. Forklift experience is a plus. A clean driving record is required.
About Yazoo Brewing: we are an 11-year old brewery focusing on well-made, drinkable beers for Southern tastes. We sold a little over 20,500 bbls last year in Tennessee and Mississippi. Nashville is a great town, consistently ranked as one of the best places to live in the US.
