Production brewery in New Haven, CT area seeking tasting room manager / sales rep.
Duties include:
-Manage in house tasting room and schedule and educate bar staff
-Create and execute specials & events in the brewery tasting room to drive attendance
-Establish and execute outside events such as tap takeovers, beer dinners, and in-store tastings
-Own the schedule of outside events and attend or otherwise ensure coverage for beerfests, in store tastings, beer dinners, tap takeovers, etc.
-Execute company sales strategy
-Create and maintain relationships with on and off premise retail accounts throughout Connecticut both in person and via phone
-Maintain relationships and communication with wholesaler managers and reps to support wholesale sales strategy in concert with internal sales strategy
-Work with distribution partners to support retail accounts as needed
-Maintain records of beer served in tasting room, removed for sales & charity events
-Keep a record of sales calls made and mileage
-Other duties as required
Must Have:
-Ability to prioritize and execute on a wide variety of tasks with varying timelines and levels of importance
-Ability to shift gears and balance different aspects of the job on different days
-Ability to form and maintain positive professional relationships with customers, retailers, wholesale
-Enthusiasm for craft beer
-Positive attitude
-Enthusiasm for social media
-Willingness to work evenings, Saturdays, occasional Sundays as needed per events schedule
-Bachelor's degree
-Graphic & website experience a plus
Compensation commensurate with experience
