    Figueroa Mountain Brewing has been focused on producing top tier from day one.They attribute that to not only the necessity for the highest quality ingredients, but the same expectations for their staff. Central California Award winning brewery is looking for qualified and enthusiastic Brewers to round out our team and to join us on our continual growth and expansions.

    We are in search for the following:

    Head Brewer
    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:
    The ability operate and maintain equipment needed to produce wort, oversee fermentation, conditioning and packaging of beer. Assists in a variety of aspects throughout the pub as needed.

    Positive outlook and attitude, with the ability to think on your feet.
    • Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards.
    • Extreme Attention to detail, as well as strong organizational and communication skills
    • Able to maintain SOP’s of brewery, with no deviation
    • Ability to manage multiple processes at one time, as well as manage Assistant Brewer
    • Self motivated with good time management skills.
    • Ability to work in a diverse environment, as well as flexible hours with possible weekend shifts
    • Ability to effectively communicate with staff throughout the organization.
    • 3-4 years commercial brewing experience, and or College education or trade equivalent
    • Operate our 15bbl Premier pub system with 9 fermenters and 12 brite beer tanks
    • CIP and tank sanitation, general brewery cleaning and upkeep, as well as mechanical knowledge
    • Operate plate & frame filter, DE Filter, and Lenticular Filter
    • Proper Yeast handling techniques, and Lab experience is preferred
    • Inventory Management and Quality Control techniques, and diligent record keeping
    • Prepares beer for packaging, packages beer, primarily in kegs.
    • Physical strength and agility necessary with ability to lift 55lbs repeatedly
    • Prior pub brewing and barrel aging experience a plus.
    • Beer training of Brewpub servers
    • Strong computer skills
    • Knowledge of traditional and innovative brewing techniques and styles
    • Have a passion for making great beer, able to think like a Mountain
