Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, one of California's fastest growing regional craft breweries, is looking for a local sales representative. After tripling sales from 2010 to 2013, we are in the midst of an expansion in San Francisco that will continue our growth and allow us to produce up to 80,000 barrels by the end of 2015. We are looking for a craft beer savvy, experienced sales representative, who is focused on delivering exceptional service in the field.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Hitman -- San Francisco. Armed with a hit list of key on-premise accounts, the Hitman's role is to develop business and increase the availability and visibility of our brand in San Francisco. As an expert in craft beer you are tasked with educating both industry professionals and the public by being our brewery ambassador at promotional events, tasting sessions, and local festivals.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience/Skills:
- 1 to 3 years experience with outside sales or within the beer industry.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results.
- Strong judgment and professional maturity.
- Ability to problem solve on the fly.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to be proactive and take initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, execute and follow-up.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Clear communication skills.
- Knowledge of and passion for craft beer and the brewing industry.
Transportation:
- Must have a personal vehicle that is in good working condition.
- Provide proof of valid State registration and automobile insurance.
- Provide proof of a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Periods of standing, moving and lifting kegs and cases of beer, required.
Education:
- Relevant Bachelor's degree/Associate's degree is preferred. Cicerone or equivalent training is a plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
We offer a highly competitive base salary and bonus structure, dependent upon experience.
