At the Blackberry Farm Brewery, our aim is to craft beers that are unique and rooted in tradition, while speaking to natural nuances of the farm. As a small brewery, we work tirelessly to produce as much as we can, but still are maintaining a very small quantity of beers. With such limited production and already high demand, the Blackberry Farm Brewery offerings are very select. Over the next year, you will see so many exciting offerings with new selections, the building of our new state of the art custom built brewery and moving beer into other markets outside of the property, with no limits to our growth opportunities.

Brewer is responsible for all beer production on property. Brewer will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of brewing operations, including, but not limited to: Recipe development, ingredient storage, wort production, yeast handling, pitching, fermentation, racking, various types of packaging, cleaning/sanitizing, etc.

Knowledge of brewery operations is a key asset. A passion for craft beer, with a desire to learn and grow along with the company’s expansion is a must. We are looking for someone who is innovative and dedicated to the quality of the products and willing to experiment with new ideas and recipe formulations. Brewer must have strong attention to details in all aspects of the Brewing Process.

Successful Blackberry Farm team members have positive outlooks and a passion for great service and quality products. Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience as a professional brewer and/or artisan brewer preferred. Education at an Accredited Brewing School is a major plus. Bottling experience and fork lift experience preferred but not required. Brewer must be able to lift 55 pounds. Working knowledge of old world beer styles is an asset. Flexible scheduling, depending on brewery needs. Can include some weekend days, nights and/or holidays.

Applicant must be able to attend on-site and off -site events (i.e. beer festivals, community fundraisers, etc), and interact with guests. Strong mechanical knowledge, including troubleshooting ability and equipment operation experience.

This is a full-time position with benefits and Blackberry Farm is an EEO employer.
