Trillium Brewing Company is looking for a part-time tasting room associate to join our family! We are in search of a positive, passionate individual who can provide an excellent customer experience in our tasting room, occasionally lend a hand when needed in the brewery, and proudly represent the Trillium brand.
Duties:
Guide customers through tastings of available beers, by pouring samples and describing each beer in detail.
Field questions about the brewery, our beers, our story, and much more.
Operate point-of-sale system and cash register.
Fill growlers according to Trillium's quality standards.
Move kegs in and out of a walk-in cooler.
Operate and troubleshoot draft equipment.
Maintain tasting room cleanliness and organization at all times.
Restock merchandise & available bottles, rinse growlers, and set up retail displays.
Desired Qualifications / Abilities:
A deep passion for craft beer is a must, knowledge about the brewing process is a plus.
Ability to accurately and concisely describe beer flavors and characteristics to others.
Ability to work in a high energy, team environment, interacting with new groups of customers throughout the day.
Tendency to clean excessively, and remain meticulously organized at all times
Retail and/or bartending experience preferred, tasting room experience is a plus.
Must be able to regularly lift and carry 55lb kegs short distances, stand on feet for 8 hour shifts talking with customers, and carry boxes up and down stairs.
TiPS training required within 30 days of beginning work.
Must have availability Thursday through Saturday, 11am-8pm.
