Cellarperson Position in Fullerton, CA
Bootlegger’s Brewery in Fullerton, CA is looking to hire a cellarperson. We are a 6-year-old rapidly growing brewery, and are looking to add a talented and motivated cellarperson to our team. This is an exciting opportunity that will involve a lot of responsibility and opportunity for growth.
Desired qualifications/skills include:
• Strong knowledge of the brewing process
• Ability to understand and follow SOPs
• Working to high quality standards with and without direct supervision
• 1+ year experience in a production brewery
• Excellent communication skills with the public, personable
• Packaging experience
• Bottling and kegging experience
• Experience in CIP of fermentation vessels/bright tanks, fermentation monitoring, lab work
Typical physical requirements will apply, including:
• Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Ability to lift 55 pound grain bags and full kegs
• Ability to ascend and descend staircase repeatedly throughout shift
• Ability to be frequently exposed to wet conditions & work in extreme cold and heat
• Frequently exposed to strong and sometimes disagreeable odors and occasionally exposed to caustic chemicals
• Ability to work near moving mechanical parts
• Ability to work in a moderate noise level
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day
This is a full time position (40 hours per week) and may be scheduled on either a morning or a night shift. Benefits include paid vacation, sick pay, paid holidays, and health insurance. Pay will be dependent on experience.
