Paradox brewery in Schroon Lake New York is looking to hire a part time assistant brewer. This position will transition into full time work. We are a rapidly growing 10 BBL brewery in the Adirondack park.
Responsibilities will include.
-Starting 20-30 hours per week
-Typical work days are Monday through Friday; flexible schedule is preferred, but not required
-Must be 21 years or older
-Must be able to lift 55lbs over head
-Must be able to stand on feet for at least 4 hrs
-Must be able to team lift 16lbs
-Can work safely around hazardous chemicals, high voltage, hot liquids, compressed gases, pressurized vessels, etc.
-Have a clean driving record
-Ability to work weekends as required
-Knowledge of basic brewing, cellar work, cleaning, sanitation, and record keeping processes preferred- not required
-Good written and verbal communication skills
-Basic math skills
Preference given to candidates with basic brewing, cellar work, cleaning, sanitation and record keeping processes. Pay is dependant on experience.
