As most breweries who went with PKA kegs, we now have a large stash(over 100) that leak or are otherwise useless. We used to send them back to PKA who apparently recycled them, but communication isn't even an option any more. We have contacted our local recycling facility, and they don't know what to do with them since there is no number stamped into the kegs so they are not sure what type of plastic it is, but then again, we can't even recycle glass in Louisiana. Is anyone aware of:
A facility that is already taking in PKA kegs?
The recycling code for PKA kegs?
Or anything to do with these broken kegs besides turn the bottom into dog dishes with the rest going to a landfill.
Thanks for any help,
