    Summary
    The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for developing, driving and directing every aspect of sales and marketing of Dude’s Brews® Craft Beer Brands. The ASM will meet the volume and distribution goals, with distributor and retail execution and leadership. The ASM will develop and implement programs throughout the Colorado Front Range and additional markets as we grow. The ASM will be the direct point of contact for our distributor network, ensuring focus on Dude’s Brews® sales growth and retail execution.
    Overall Responsibilities:
    Drives the sales execution and merchandising standards
    Builds and Maintains Quality distribution in the marketplace
    Develops and maintains strong customer relationships at all levels to maximize Dude’s Brews® opportunities for expanded sales execution throughout Key 100 Accounts
    Drives full portfolio distribution across Key Accounts
    Drives merchandising and POS execution standards for the Dude’s Brews® portfolio
    Drives activity and volume output via price special and features negotiation
    Pricing realization
    Build and maintain rapport with account personnel
    Utilize effective cross-selling skills, cold-calling and relationship management to increase and maintain market share
    Describe features and benefits of our brand offering competitive pricing structures that demonstrate savings and potential profit to the customer
    Supports the Distributor Sales Team in presenting and selling in the Dude’s Brews Brands in
    On and Off Premise


    Off-Premise Focus

    Provides the drive towards volume, distribution and visibility ensuring sustainable profitable growth.
    Shelf placement and management
    Display execution
    Drives merchandising and POS execution standards for the Dude’s Brews® portfolio
    Supports chain execution and secondary chain call points where applicable, while closely working with distributor personnel in training and execution of the Dude’s Brews® sales and merchandising standards.
    Retail Price Management
    Staff Education
    Ensure Retail & Merchandising Standards
    Local & Special Event Activation (Retail)
    Educational and enthusiastic hand-sales at key accounts


    On-Premise Focus
    Provide sales and marketing of the Dude’s Brews® brand to the Area’s bar, restaurant, hotel and casino accounts.
    Provides the drive towards volume, distribution and visibility ensuring sustainable profitable growth.
    Set up and manage in-store promotions, in conjunction with Owners and Bar Managers, using promotional table tents, posters, banners, pint glasses, etc.
    Train, develop, and educate wait staff on the Dude’s Brews® brand


    Consumer Engagement Support
    Leads Local Program Implementation across Key 100 Accounts
    Drives consumer sampling activities within Key 100 accounts across Dude’s Brews® portfolio as relevant to the Market (on & off-premise)
    Leads meaningful and impactful consumer interaction that drives local market buzz
    Oversees all retail activation around community consumer building activities to support the Dude’s Brews® brand platforms
    Collaborates with the Brewpubs, Brewers, Managers and Hopheads on local sponsorship and special event execution
    Supports and amplifies local programming via social media activation in support of key brand activities in the on and off premise

    Administrative and Recapping Support
    Leads weekly activity and program recaps
    Accountable for the Key Account Monthly Sales Reporting
    Maintain a home based office while managing territory
    Report directly to the President

    Qualifications
    A minimum of 2 years Sales, Events, or Sponsorship experience (required)
    Someone who can juggle multiple projects under tight constraints and still meet all deadlines
    You must not be satisfied with just meeting expectations but must strive to exceed customer expectations (Know what they want and deliver before they ask)
    Be a Team Player who enjoys collaborating with others
    Must be innovative and have a creative way of thinking
    Strong Local connections to market in Colorado is a must
    Ability to travel as required
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to ensure clear and concise communication with management, co-workers and vendors/distributors.
    Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point).
    Bachelor’s degree preferred
