Just started working at a brewery and the people who have installed the steam and condensate pipes have sized them according to 140kg of steam at 3.2 bar per hour.
That seems way too low for me. We have a 100 hl hot water tank, a 50 hl wort/mash kettle with internal calandria.
But for sake of simplicity, how much typical steam usage per hour can we excpect from just boiling with a 6% evaporation?
I have very little experience in calculating these things.
