Wander Brewing, a small, independent craft brewery in Bellingham, WA is seeking a full time Tap Room/Brew Hall manager to join our team. Our Brew Hall is open to the public six days a week, serving Wander beers and offering food truck service on our patio. Our customers are a healthy blend of Bellingham locals and visitors from out of town. Our strong focus on customer service and knowledge of our beers helps to ensure our customers have a unique and fantastic experience during their visit.
The right candidate must have a passion for beer and their career in the craft brewing industry. Because of the high level of customer interaction, the Brew Hall manager will first, and foremost, be an ambassador for our beer and our culture. In addition to taking care of our customers and promoting our brand, the position’s responsibilities will include:
• Serving beer
• Cleaning
• Employee scheduling
• Merchandise inventory
• Glassware management
• Updating our beer menu
• Food truck coordination
• Opening and closing Brew Hall (evening and weekends required)
We are looking for the right fit for our Wander Brewing team. We highly value hardworking and reliable people who take pride in their work. The right person will be motivated and flexible, willing to wear the many hats that are required for our small business. Other skills and requirements:
• Prior serving and supervisory experience required
• Knowledge of beer and the brewing industry very beneficial
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Prior POS and cash handling experience
• Flexible schedule
• Beer certification or Cicerone a plus
