Sales Representative – Indiana
Do you love hard cider and craft beer? Do you want to craft a career in this fast growing segment of the alcoholic beverage marketplace? Things are happening fast in craft cider and Vermont Hard Cider Company, maker of Woodchuck Hard Cider, is leading the charge into deeper through innovation and authenticity in the craft category. We are seeking a passionate and energetic Sales Representative with a love for craft beverages, and Woodchuck, to join our sales team.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop, maintain, and update a list of key accounts in the market.
• Schedule and attend promotions, demos, tastings, and trainings in target accounts and maintain a promotional calendar.
• Manage and participate in Special Events/Festivals including nights and weekends.
• Participate in out of market crew drives.
• Work with distributors to build the distribution base both ON and OFF Premise through all levels of the organizations.
• Heavy focus- on premise and grocery/liquor chains (where applicable).
• “Work withs” (wholesaler reps and management), product placement, price management, chain program execution and on-premise promotions.
Requirements include:
• Passion, high energy, and eagerness to meet with current and future Woodchuck fans!
• Familiarity with the on and off premise craft beer market preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in related sales or service industry with a focus in the hospitality or food and beverage industry.
• Brewer and beer wholesaler experience preferred.
• Travel will be required (Approx. 8 days per month)
• Bachelor’s degree in business, or comparable business experience.
• Based out of the Indianapolis area.
