We are a potential contract brewery startup and are trying to gather information on keg leasing programs and the best fit for us. We are looking at KegCraft and KegCredit, but really like the pay per fill method. We know that they will arrive dirty, but we can clean them. Our contractor is quite a distance away, so the transportation logistics are one of our largest cost. We obviously are too small for MicroStar, but if anyone has any input or advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

We lease a portion of our total kegs. It's highway robbery in my opinion and we are working to get the hell out of it. Keep your eye out for used kegs and jump on them. Even if you have to replace the spears you will be saving a ton of money as opposed to leasing. That is, unless you like being bent over a bbl.

We leased a round of kegs up front to get us going, now that is a cost that we should have just put forth buying our own. Since then we have bought kegs and its nice to know you own something and at the end of the day, you have the ability to get your money back if the worst should happen. With leasing, you owe them the term plus return shipping at the end.

There are 3 one way keg options you could look at?

Have you looked at the section on keg leasing in the supplier directory? http://www.probrewer.com/the-probrewer-supplier-directory/
There are about 9 companies listed there.
