  • Carb stone that will fit into a 1" port?

Reading a couple threads here about installing a carb stone into a unitank prior to fermentation. Id like to try this out as we have a beer we send out for distribution solely for draught. I like the stones GWKENT offers that have the extension which would get the actual stone portion into the body of the beer - our dillema - our little 7bbl unitanks only have a 1" not 1.5" sample port - no other ports in the body of the tank besides the racking arm of course.

Any lines on a thinner/slim stone?

Our brite tanks only had one 1" port halfway up, we bought the 7/8" stone from I believe glacier tanks and then had a fabricator cut and weld a section of stainless tubing between the ferrel and the stone. It's a tight fit, and I'm sure over repeated removal the stone will lose some of it's efficiency, but as of now it works great.
